I can’t see the colors
Anymore.
Only shadows of what they used to be
Flickering in and out of my perception
Like a dying dream
Was yellow, now green
And blue hidden behind that veil of creeping black
Even that is fading fast
Like wilting flowers, dead at last
The shadows of what once were vivid
Colors.
